That is the whole problem with the HBO crew, Lampley is literally the **** sucking contest king but every so often Roy Jones or Kellerman give it their best go and come real close to being his equal.

That was why negative Merchant worked he balanced out the **** sucking going on by the rest of the team.

There is no balance on the team now, it is all one way with one of the three usually being less committed to the **** sucking contest (never Lampley because he is always down for the cause).

B-Hop and Ward are a bit better but they don't really change the dynamic.

Interesting idea would at least bring in a different dynamic. I would personally just get rid of the three man booth, put Lampley with B-Hop and Kellerman with Jones or Ward. The Kellerman team might still be too positive but I do think Max would take the chance seriously to not be the third wheel in a **** sucking contest, so maybe it would pan out.

Take the Showtime crew, it works because even though Bernstein is a pretty positive guy, and Malinaggi is not super negative (during the fights) but they disagree a lot.

So at least hire someone who can play devils advocate every now and then.

When they had Emmanuel Stewart to balance out and offset the nonsense, it was tolerable.

The combination of Merchant, Kellerman, Lampley and ODD Roy is just disgusting.

Steward was just as bad.
