  • How much profit does Rocnation get from their boxing events?

I'd be surpised if they make $1 million a year in profit from boxing.

Ward's gates and HBO license fees barely cover the event purses.

        Cotto-Canelo was probably pretty profitable.

This. I'd assume 2015 was a profitable year for RN due to that fight. I suspect 2016 will be successful with Cotto & Ward having a PPV fight. I think most boxing cards are break even if guys are lucky. The prize is when you get to the HBO/Showtime level or the PPV level & RN gots 2 PPV caliber guys so they are gonna do alrite for awhile.

Based on Cotto,'s guarantee and Canelo's points & having to split pot with GBP, I don't see how they made any real money.

Who cares? Can we , as boxing fans, just watch boxing and not comment on things that really doesn't matter?

Is not like we gain anything if a certain promoter or adviser make money or not.
