That guy was Garbage and I predicted the fight, I never heard of him until the figh twas announced watched his tape, and saw nothing special, predicatable, basic, textbook boxer. No nothing, no improv, no identity just a basic boxer, a guy who has no brain, just like a robot. I knew ward would toy with this guy. He doesnt know how to apply constant pressure, and he only throws predictable 1 2 3 shots, and backs out after, you are not going to catch Ward with one clean one you will need to catch him when he resets, this why I loved prime Pacquiao, he would throw a combo, bounce back make you think he is backing off and come right back while your guard was down with a 3 piece and touch you up wobble your brain a bit get you defensive.
Ward should beat Kovalev as well, Kovalev has no inside game and Ward will push him back watch mark my words.Comment

All I can say is...don't say anything about GGG fighting nobodies when Ward just dominated one at home. The truth is no one hear heard of Sullivan Barrera before fighting Ward.Comment

Wrong. The people who hyped up barrera were the ward fans. They wanted to make it seem like he was taking on a good opponent. "Go watch barrera on youtube, thats where really shows how good he is. Nobody really hyped Barrera up besides the people who accused Ward of "Ducking Him" before the fight became official. Ward is already Proven, he didn't not need this fight to solidify anything. Ward don't depend on Power, he depend on his SKILLS so him fighting at 175 is not gong to change anything. If anything I think 175 will be EASIER for him because the guys at 175 are much slower compared to him at least

Yeah, I remember that they told me to go watch his fight against Murat, these same guys are the ones who criticize GGG but not Rigondeaux, and they only support BLACK cubans or Latinos.
When I watched the Murat fight, I laughed hard and said this guy has no shot of beating Ward, he will be easy money for him. Typical, basic, no chance taking, just timid, conservative, textbook boxing, in order to be great you must set up shots, do feints, follow ups, improvise, confuse your opponent and sneak them. This guy is garbage.
I still think Ward beats Kovalev, Ward will rough Kovalev up, and get on the inside, Kovalev is not an inside fighter, he is a mid to long range guy because of his long arms, Ward will push him back and get in close as soon as possible and tie up and make it ugly.
He will do what a younger B hop would have done to Kovalev, thats just my view.

Hes a solid B fighter Ward is just on another level. Made him look worse than he is because of that fact. All you gotta be is one level above your oponent and you can make em look silly by comparison look at Donaire vs Rigondeaux fight. And that was just a one level difference this fight was at least two between Barrera and Ward . Barrera is B but ward is Elite .Comment

Barrera ain't nothing to brag about, Ward has beaten better fighters whilst looking better as well. Even Rodriguez is better than Berrera in my opinion. Only thing that worried me was the rust and it showed. Ward's exceptional at closing the distance, either being too close or too far out and the way he gets under punches whilst smothering his opponents, again all exceptional but I didn't see that against Berrera. I expect to see the Ward of old in his next fight so it's all good.Comment
