Haha, damn man I admire your dedication. I passed out on the couch after cleaning up in the kitchen and working shoulders. I normally start really getting amped up around 6 or 7 on fight night. If I anticipate it too much, I tend to start pre-gaming it and when the fight actually rolls around, I'm 3 sheets to the wind.

I've learned my limitations so I knock out a bunch of tasks off my to-do list during the day, get a nice heavy meal in, and pour my first drink around 7 with a glass of water after every other beer to prevent hangover.

... I wouldn't mind if Ward wins, but only in a manner which is similar to what Floyd did vs Canelo...

But I feel some tension because I actually can't put some money at the bookies -- i.e. Kovalev by stoppage hedged with Ward by decision... But I suspect that, if somehow hurt, Ward will derail the fight into something tragicomical...

... something like that... but rather TD (technical Draw, Technical Decision), NC (No Contest)...

(So: B-Hop wasn't "composed and professional"?)

b-hop is a hustler by nature

i think you're mischaracterising ward. if kovalev hurts him, he'll spoil or get on his bike until he recovers, but i see no scenario in which he quits. like mayweather, he's tougher than people give him credit for

Can't wait for this fight. I'm still thinking that kov will win, but would not be surprised if ward shuts him down. If he forces kov to reset the whole fight, it will be game over. Hope Kovalev is ready for that. As long as he doesn't get frustrated, he will have a good chance. 50/50 fight and a great card.

Couldn't be happier with tonight's boxing line up.

i'm also really interested to see how gvozdyk does against chilemba. might not be the most entertaining fight ever but it's a really good test for an excellent prospect
