This fight feels like Crawford vs Postol, only that Postol would have more power and Crawford less powerful, and kids compared to Ward vs Kova, ring IQ.

Beat me to it. The story of the fight was Ward tagging Brand with clean right hands. He's never implemented his right like he has the left, but watching the brand fight and seeing him throw those rights, switch and lead with the right, etc, it's clear that "1-handed fighter" is a poor observation.

Those who think Ward is a one right fighter are wrong.
Those who think Kovalev is a robot are wrong.

Let's all agree that we are watching two of the best fighters go at it.

I am leaning a bit on the Kovalev side just because i have been seen Ward talk a bit too much, he is feeling a bit insecure.
Dogs who bark too much bite too little.

That said, it is like a 50/50 fight between two great warriors who will be great win or loose.

There's an odd phenomena where, if Ward says anything to reporters, he's labeled as talking too much, or arrogant, etc. The guy is getting interviewed a lot because this is the most anticipated fight of the year and he's the only one of the two who is fluent in English. He's done zero trash talking on twitter or any "barking" at all. He's just answering questions. Odd the way people view these things. Some criticize him for being too quiet, but if he talks at all he gets bashed as well.

I get you are trying to be objective and fair perspective and all that, but I don't see this as being 50/50 at all. I lean toward Ward by a pretty significant margin. Kovalev is a big bad bruiser and is overrated because of his KO ability. Ward is going to box his socks off.

I went ahead and rewatched Ward-Froch. Ward really didn't throw the right hand any more often back then than he did in the Brand fight. He is simply a left hand dominant fighter.

Calling Kovalev a Bully is something correct? who asked him something for him to say that?
Kovalev is one of the most fair play boxers out there. There's zero bullying on him.

And that's not the only thing he said.

That being said, he's fought with one handed his entire career so I don't think it'll be much of a detriment to his overall game plan.
Throws it less since the surgery

Turned southpaw vs brand when he was looking for the ko so that he could fire the straight left

                      You are merely fishing here.

He turned southpaw because, in the process of winning every single round, he was facing an awkward opponent.

Turning southpaw allowed him to land the left from a different angle, and it was an effective strategy.

I'm looking into going to Vegas for this fight--admittedly it might be hard to pull off but there'll be other fights--but if I did make it out, I'd be considering putting a good wager on Ward.

It is pretty hard for me to see Ward losing this one, it really is.
