He's not exactly 2009 Pacquaio in that respect, he's not doing that to Ward of all Heck he toyed with Pascal and there wasn't any bloodshed there.

Kovalev is to be favoured but I'll have Ward when it's time.

Both guys are facing their best ever opponent, anyone comparing Ward to a near 50 year old Hopkins needs slapping.
Kovalev broke Pascal's nose in the second fight pretty terribly..

The thing about Kovalev, his opponents are out asleep before any cuts happen

Yup. Stoppages are stoppages. But Kovalev is out to punish Ward, and will beat him from pillar to post.

Had no idea Kovalev now had a second nickname in "King"

It's a great fight, I'm glad Ward showed up against Barrera.

Favour Kovalev, but Ward is a tricky opponent. It's just a great match-up.

Well said. This fight can go many ways, but I see Ward ending up like a gazelle ends up after the lion pride has had their fill.

I'm interested in who Ward will have a tuneup against before he faces Krusher.

The only right answer to that question is Beterbiev. If Ward can't get through Beterbiev, Kovalev would kill him.

But why does Ward need 2-3 more fights? I don't get that position at all. I think even one more fight is pushing it. The guy isn't a prospect. He is in his prime.
                    Beterbiev would simply destroy Ward.
I don't understand all this tuning up bs either. He's more tuned than a grand piano. Do people on here know that SRL went straight in with Hagler after 3 years off? There is training, sparring and camp to get ready, no more excuses - Ward is getting exposed.

I'm betting heavy on Kovalev. I can currently get about 11/10 on him, so $2000 returns $4200 with the stake back.
