Ward is full of rust, he's fighting average once in two years. Not to mention Ward only good wins are in the super six tournament like 5 years ago or more. Until then he was on vacation, and when he fought, he cherry picked some very bad opposition. Kovalev is a world champion for many years, he's dominant, he's scary, i think he would KO Ward. I think Beterbiev is the dark horse in this division, he's more scary for Kovalev than the overrated Ward that's for sure.

I am favoring Kovalev in this fight but don't put too much stock in ring rust when it comes to a disciplined, cerebral fighter, this fight will be close.
