I still think Ward needs 2-3 more fights.

If the opponent you're talking about is Beterbiev, that'd be a start.

Beterbiev would be a great fight.

But why does Ward need 2-3 more fights? I don't get that position at all. I think even one more fight is pushing it. The guy isn't a prospect. He is in his prime.

I think it's inactivity more than anything.

Kovalev's a beast but Ward is the master boxer. Think he can win this fight.

If the fight is already signed for November it would benefit both guys

That's a long time for a guy with so fights in recent years ward

Kov will be out like 10 months

Plus we'd get to see both fight. Should put em on the same card

Would be an awesome lead up ...wishful thinking I know

It might happen, who knows. To me it still speaks volumes that Wards team wanted more than one fight from the get go. I still see no reason to do it.

Like I said before I don't care about the layoff excuse, he wasn't injured, he was absent for no real good reason.

Anyways, if the contract is signed it doesn't matter know.

Ward is a dead man walking. Kovalev is going to do Ward like therealpugilist did that Karate master in the dojo.

Ward has to get inside and use rough house tactics and frustrate ward

I like kova by decision, keeping ward at long range and jabbing

Barrera was a little slow, but he still managed to touch Ward. He needs 2-3 fights against good LHW contenders, not one, before he faces Kovalev. At this point, Krusher starches Ward.
