  • Speaking of true 50/50 fights, Ward/Kovalev is virtually dead even at all online sports books (http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/an...kovalev/winner).

Other fights widely regarded as 50/50 often have ~2/1 betting favorites (Canelo 2/1 favorite over Cotto, Thurman 2/1 favorite over Porter etc).

To me that means it's potentially a steal, considering I would bet quite a bit of money (and very well might) that Kovalev will win decisively.

More than anything I just want to see the fight though.

        • Win or lose it seems some are determined to never give Ward credit. Both fighters should be complimented as this is both their toughest fights.

          • Ward opened up as the favorite. AS HE SHOULD

I don't have a problem with that. He should be.

But Kovalev will win this fight.

Kovalev won't land enough punches to get a decision.

The most likely outcomes are Ward by Decision, or Kovalev by KO.

I expect Kovalev to stop him in the mid rounds.

Ward will get broken, down, there will just be nowhere for him to go once Kovalev times him.

                  • Amazing fight , might fly in for it , will be competitive and nerve wrecking , kind of fights you feel building up in your belly a week before and can't sleep the night before !!!! EXCITED AS HELL!!!! the only other fight in the sport i could've had this hype about was GGG vs Ward to be honest , funny thing i don't even like Ward boxing style (he is a tremendous talent no one can deny it) but he is in 2 of the best fights i had wished for recently.....

                    • Not that long ago(past 2 years or so) I was waiting for Ward to come up and beat Kovalev, and I thought he would look amazing in doing so... Untill he started making his "comeback" fights when his promotional issues were over with, I can't tell if it was rust, age, perhaps abit of both but I can not see Ward making it out the 12 rounds sadly.. Kov wins
