Eddie has said a few times to IFL that HBO asked them, if they are interested in the Cotto fight and Hearn said they are. Hearn said that earlier this week.
He was a reporter at the post fight press conference

^^ I guess you can forget about the winner of Spence/Peterson too since look like he leaving to 154 soon
Neither Spence or Peterson are big fights

Doesn't Golovkin hold titles at MW, does Cotto still have titles at 154?

          He hasn't declined anything.

He said he wants to try and secure a big fight at 147 before deciding. If they can't get one of the 147 guys, then they will discuss the fights at 154.

Why turn down Cotto and then call out Triple G?

Cotto is a winnable fight for Brook and he'll get more money for it. Also he admits he is struggling to make 147, this is the perfect time to move up

I think he enjoys feasting on smaller men

Cotto is a bigger name and brings more money to the table

Thats what Brook is always ****ing on about "big names baby"...

There is no excuse to turn down Cotto

No for now? Cotto will retire soon. Just say it.

Cotto came off a loss, doesn't hold titles. Yes he's a big name, but Brook wants to make a statement by fighting the guy that Khan's opponent is ducking, and since there are titles on the line at 157, he's willing to do that.

I understand that you are in some type of Khan/Brook civil war, i'm not part of that, that was you and Dirk Diggler's theme.

Hearn doesn't want to lose Brook to America. I said it earlier. Hearn is holding Brook back.
