Same size in height, weight and length. Ward fought at light heavy in the amateurs for years and that limit is 3 pounds HEAVIER than the pros (178)
Ward has an advantage with experience and skill set and Barerra isn't a young guy coming up he needs to do well here.

Watching Barrera, i know he's supposed to be good, but man does he look slow as fuc/k compared to Ward......if Ward has balls and puts himself at risk, this could be an entertaining beatdown....but i'm guessing he'll stink it out...

I might be the only one who thinks Ward looks better with some hair.

Barrera definitely a little "bigger" looking in terms of muscularity but Ward doesn't rely on explosive strength so it shouldn't matter much. Ward might have a stronger base which will be important on the inside.

I was thinking "the guy looks a study of experience - been there, done that". Maybe I am over complicating it and he just looks older.

On another note Ward looks like he needs to put on 2/3 pounds of muscle. At SMW he had superior strength to many of his opponents. Barrera looks like he will at least be able to hold his own strength-wise.

I thought the same. He's never had muscles that "popped", ever. So, he simply looks like a bigger Andre Ward. He bullied prime Froch and continually put him against the ropes so he's one of those guys who is strong w/o looking flashy.

The guys saying negatives are the usual trolls just expressing their anger.
