Floyd sold because he had a great marketing gimmick and was lucky enough to get in the ring with other fighters that could sell.

That gimmick won't work for anyone else. And GGG doesn't have an Arturo Gatti who lead him to a Oscar De La Hoya.

Floyd was the b side fightters in those ppvs.

No one is giving GGG that shot.

That's not the topic I'm addressing though. It's what you said about "boring" fighters not being able to sell fights. The biggest draw in the world was a "boring" fighter.

When Floyd was building himself up he wasn't boring. Ironically is was when he embraced "money" that he became boring.

And quite frankly, as I said earlier, that gimmick won't work again.

Maybe 20 years from now it will, but right now, it won't. There's no marketing gimmick that is going to sell a boring fighter.

Big ppv fights are big because non boxing fans buy them. Years wasting money on Floyd fights is still fresh in there minds, it won't happen again.

The facts just aren't there. Floyd continued to sell well w/ a conservative style. Wlad does big in EU and now Fury, who stunk the joint out, is the biggest star in the UK, despite a boring performance and people can't wait for the rematch. I won't belabor this or continue to reply. I respect that your prediction is your prediction. Fact is, boring fighters are selling big because marketing and in-ring performance are two separate things. Doesn't make sense to me either but the facts are there.

Ya well see, my point is I believe Floyd will be last guy to do it.

For all of wards accomplishments, his last fight was on on BET and only 300k ppl tuned in.
