They're puppets and Abel Sanchez has them all on a string.

Like I've said for years his team are just happy to keep the hypetrain running, the K.O streak alive by fighting a continual streak of no-hopers.

I guess they are playing hardball with GBP/Canelo, they do not want to give them any ammo on why he should fight them below 160. In doing so, GGG may have let go of a good little name on his resume there and a big fight that would have had casuals talking, and Brook would have had the boxing world talking for challenging too. Oh well.

Kell is the same height as Canelo and dropped Hatton when Canelo couldn't. I'd be nervous for Kell but quietly confident. I think if he drops the right hand on GGG that hit Porter at the end of the 1st he won't be able to hide his leg wobble as well as Shawn.

I guess Manny really was a Coward for wanting the catchweight with Cotto.

Sure, Kel Brock (lol) isnt a huge name but he's a bigger name than anyone else GGG can get a hold of. Irony that GGG has offered 154-168 and his team is now making weight the issue while he's getting these offers...

He should take Kel at 158 (he's usually 158-159 ish anyway) . Fight him in the UK and no rehydration clause. If he doesn't fight Canelo he can leverage a Kel win into a BJS fight and make another uk fight if he pleases and start getting all the UK fans on his side too. Hell... If Khan somehow beats Canelo that'd be a lucrative as hell fight Khan vs GGG in the UK.

They need to stop putting all their eggs in a Canelo basket and think of the possibilities

    Just unbelievable...

If you run around for 4+ years saying you can beat anyone in several weight classes, get called out by several folks in said weight classes, but have yet to fight any of them...you gotta be avoiding a few folks.

Good luck fighting Danny Jacobs, lil g.

Cuz no way are you going to dictate to any A-side.

Not Ward, not Mayweather, and definitely not Canelo.

You have no argument about not bettering his career because Kell is better than anybody on his resume so far , how the fck can he say Kell is too small when Kell is bigger than Floyd , how the fck can he call out Froch Jnr and Ramirez at 168 then Froch again at 172 , and then he has the gaul to tell Ward 164 CW what kinda BS is that , his excuse then was if he goes up he cant come back down , only yesterday they said 172 and back to MW is fine , the guy is BSing every second word he says .

The best fight as far as really seeing what GGG has got is Andre Ward and he put out a dam CW , that was BS but then again I think they know Ward schools him so best to throw out a weight he cant make as the fanboys will swallow it and onward Christian soldiers .

    Interesting thread.

I almost forgot there were some people saying Golovkin was ducking Brook on here. Of course, easy to say since no one including myself thought this was a serious offer from Brook.

did ggg go under 160 for him?? nope, wont even give a single pound for a fighter coming up 2 weight classes... and you wonder why he wont get a big fight? he wont concede on anything, no sacrifice... bigger names than him made concesions, but he wont....

^There I am, defending Golovkin. Just making note for all the guys saying I hate on him.

He would have gone down a couple pounds for Canelo without question but Canelo refused to even negotiate with him whatsoever, absolutely nothing then dropped the belt. They absolutely would have done a 158 pound deal for mega fight with Canelo but nope, nothing from the gingers side only a dropped off the belt.

Yeah I quoted myself too to show how I thought Brook was full of ****, he proved me wrong obviously. Lots of courage but a little foolish imo but it's his career.

That's very strange that you quoted me, I explain in fine detail how I felt about the situation and no where in that post does it say GGG ducked Brook. I'm all for that fight then and i'm all for the fight now. Not sure why you quoted me, did you read the post you quoted

He wont go down a couple of pounds for a welter, what makes you think he will do it for canelo when he spent months saying 160 or no fight... too bad that ship has sailed, as jmw champ (after the smith fight) canelo has every right to demand the fight on his weightclass, you know 154 or no fight, i know he wont do that, but i wouldnt mind..

My quote only proves further, everything I said. Brook is a nobody. He's not a name, and he's not a MW. And he's going to get the **** beat out of gum and Golovkin will STILL be a B class celebrity after the fact.

Thanks for reminding me how consistent I always am. It's a gratifying trait.

See the problem is, you think I dislike Golovkin... Not true... I just see through the facade.
