I also saw him against Lara. Those body shots you could hear and they practically shook the ring. I bet Lara was pissing blood the next day. In between rounds you could even see it on Lara's face. One of the rounds looked like Lara wanted to cry! It was the round where Lara practically ran up and tried jumping over Canelo to get out of the way.
I think he clearly beat Cotto, but I don't think he really f0cked him up. I think I scored it 116-112 with a lot of close rounds. If I had been inclined to score rounds 10-10, it would have been closer. I thought it was a very respectable performance by Cotto against a bigger, younger man.
I thought Canelo did an especially good job countering off of Cotto's jab...though I thought Cotto's jab was pretty effective at times too.

Cotto always leaves the ring without an interview when he loses. I don't think he ran from the ring in shame or pain. I think he was pissed that the scores were so wide. He might have actually believed that he won...which doesn't surprise me all that much. When you're in a fight, you have a different perspective from the people watching it. I actually thought Cotto's face looked more ******-up after the Trout fight than it did after Canelo.

But I do agree that Canelo's early body shots were a very effective tool against Cotto.

I didn't think that Cotto showed up at the post-fight press conferenc. Are you referring to the guy who shows up in this video at around the 33:25 mark (in the red hat and shades)? If so, that's Francisco Vargas.

At 31:20 Q: "If WBC asks you to fight Golovkin next or give up the belt, what do you do?"
... Canelo shows his bicepses and says: "I'm ready... I'm ready..."

Why so salty??? You notice why their are NO articles about Peter Wade and GGG??! Because no one gives a sht!
How do you know this fight will be so great? It hasn't happened yet. If you consider the smaller glassed-chin Khan coming out throwing a few flurry combos, only to get his chin checked a great fight, uh, ok.

Wade became GGG's mandatory after Johnson got injured. Saunders is talking shit now, but turned down a fight with Golovkin when offered. Canelo's a big man who is fighting Khan, who has no chin and is coming up 2 weight classes. "The next great Mexican fighter" also insists he won't fight fellow MW title holder GGG at the MW limit, but will only fight him if Golovkin drains himself down to 155. Now I ask you, why shouldn't I be salty?

What entire country is supporting Amir Khan?

This is a **** fight, and Alvarez is a b*tch. I hope he comes into the ring like a zombie and gets embarrassed.

Canelo takes 4 steps backwards with this crappy Khan fight

Canelo is a low Mexican afraid of GGG. The weak Khan fight is a disgrace to the middleweight belt. Strip the undeserving Can=yellow of the 160lb belt AND JUST GIVE IT TO ggg. Mexicans have never been known for bravery and wise choices anyway. There has never been one Mexican war hero. Canyellow is a joke.

... while GGG isn't one of the best and his style is easy, right?

Canelo must be the only 'middleweight' champion in history who is afraid to defend his middleweight title against a middleweight and this idiot walks in at 175lbs what a coward.

People are right to say he should be stripped.

I know for one because Khan isn't a BUSTER Douglas 18-1 under dog like Lemuix was. Who LOST to Joachim Alcine...who was KTFO in ROUND 1 by...wait for it...Alfredo Angulo.
