Anybody that knows Canelo skills is that he eludes jabs too easily as he pivots back or side to side, and his reach is crazy. How many fighters even did head movement to avoid Lil'Gs jab or even countered within range? The judges will definitely take note of the fight.

Canelo's defense is so underrated I can't see Lil'G beating him. Too slick and his youth is an advantage. People should note that Lil'G is gonna feel that power and he will gas out. Reynoso's camp will know what to do to prepare.

I always felt a little shaky about this fight after I saw this article, and others, about GGG vs. B-Hop. CONSPIRACY THEORY: If I'm B-Hop, and I promote Canelo, wouldn't it be in my own interest to tell GGG he has to come to 155 for Canelo? (I mean, seriously, B-Hop had to come down for De La Hoya.) Now if GGG says no, then I (B-Hop) get a shot at GGG, and make some dough. Even if I lose, I then tell Canelo to accept the fight, and I (B-Hop) make some more money! WIN-WIN!!

GGG should take the 70/30 split. At least he'll get Canelo at the full 160 with the purse bid. Once Canelo's on his resume, getting bigger fights will be a lot easier.

I agree but that's assuming K2 ppl are smart which their NOT. They are Caribe Productions 2.0 and over value their fighter.

I always said 155 lbs 50/50 split and each lb up was gonna cost them about 5% of the $$$ split!

Ggg aint getting both the weight and the $$$$. He's got to give up one. Purse bid is PERFECT way for GoldenBoy to get the $$$$$, location, and date.

You assume GGG has actually fought anyone worth a damn??? He HAS NOT!!! All the guys he's fought aren't even RANKED P4P in the top #100. U could get more head movement out of GGG if he was hitting a punching bag. Which is equivalent to the talent that he's fought. Punching bags with arms that just stand there.

Dude was huffing and puffing when fought Cotto, if Cotto's offense was anywhere near what GGG's is right now, he would've stopped him.

Don't get me wrong if Canelo doesn't fight GGG in Sept. I'm done rooting for Canelo. But GGG doesn't seem to want to do anything to make a big fight either.

I would love to see GGG fight DeGale or even Andre Dirrell. Over any MW. This is my list of favorite like to see GGG fight.

Canelo at above 157. Prefer 160
Ward at 168
DeGale 168
Dirrell 168
Lara 157/158
Brook 157/158

They'll say Canelo already lost to Floyd and struggled against others. They'll say Brook was too small. Lara already lost to Canelo. Dirrell hasn't done a thing in years apart from lose to DeGale. They'll say DeGale only beat an inactive Dirrell and shot Bute.

You know how it goes. He could go through that list and finish them all in 3 rounds and still get no credit for it, apart from beating Ward.

The only possible fight out there that is going to please everybody is him fighting Ward and that might never happen with Ward being at 175 now.

Yeah, your probably right? I just picked the best IMO that's around his weight. Except for Ward of course. I picked Dirrell because They went 1-1 against each other and to this day I still love wathcing their fight in the Olympics. I thought could of went either wa but GGG deserved the win. Also think Froch got away with ROBBERY in their fight. Dirrell is such a waste of talent. Had high hopes for him...

Canelo vs. GGG has to happen in Sept. I don't want no steak marinating BS. Canelo said he would fight GGG in the ring. Even said fight right now after the Cotto fight.
