McGregor did not move up 25 pounds...I wish you guys would stop trying to inflate it like its some accomplishment when it truely isnt

    Diaz fights at 155

    Mcgregor at 145

they fought at a catchweight of 170 or LESS. Diaz is not a wlterweight at all.....he was an out of shape lightweight who didnt have a camp to cut the weight to 155

McGregor is huge for 145...they basically fought each other at their walk around weights without draining and drying up

it would be like Thurman going up to fight ward or kovalev...thats a true 20+ pound leap

you dont get credit for moving up to a weight class when the opponent is from a lower weight too

it was a catchweight fight nothing more or less...also he lost....is the weight like the cushion to ease the pain of the loss?

What I'm saying is McGregor gave up all of his physical advantages and moved up. It would be like if Floyd at 130 moved up and fought the 140 champion at 147, only the champ was a lot taller and longer than him. He simply never did it and never would.
.....WTF are you talking about.....Mcgregor lost for one....Mayweather has been outweighed on fight night 10 lbs-15 lbs several times in his career

Mcgregor didnt move up 25 pounds...neither guy had to drain so they fought at walk around weight. Diaz didnt even have camp

Larger is mass, volume density and weight...it has nothing to do with height or reach.....but since you brought it up ODLH, NDO, Corales, Genaro hernandez, soe early opponents were

height doesnt mean you are bigger or better

Firstly, When Diaz weights 170, he is a welterweight. He has had 4, now 5 fights at Welterweight. He beat Markham who was at one point, a very good welterweight.

When Mosley was weighing 154 and then moved down to Welter after a few years he was still a light middle during those years. I honestly don't care about Mcgregor losing, but moving up in MMA is far, far harder than moving up in Boxing. Mcgregor did a ****** thing accepting 170lbs and there is reason that other MMA fighters don't do what he did, because it's ******. Not commendable but ******.

Nate Diaz walk around weight isn't 170lbs, I remember a few years ago before the Mcdonald fight he was 190 out of competition.

Lets be frank here, Mayweather would never have picked a fight with a young, fresh killer who's been in great form like McGregor did with Dos Anjos. Cloner selected him three months off the back of beating the longest reigning champion in that sport.

If more boxers had even half of Cloner's competitive spirit, boxing wouldn't be in the **** state that it's in.
