IMO It would have been worse for Ricky had TBE fought him when TBE was at 140.

At 140 TBE was freakin crazy fast and Ricky cut alot of weight at 140 so his chin probably would have been worse.

i watch this fight quite often...really enjoyed it...Mayweather really didnt allow himself to get mauled and created space and landed short shots

Mayweather lands every punch he throws or didn't you know? Even blocked punches he lands. Punches to the arms count also. Rolled or skimming punches although they don't count on Mayweather count like a flush shot when it's on his opponents. Body shots also don't count on Mayweather.

hatton was an overachiever with an ugly fighting style. people had the wool pulled over their eyes with his "win" over an aged tzuyu who had his belt wrestled from him, then his escape from collazo in where he was just out on his feet looking like a fool and then the win over an above weight jose luis castillo.

joe cortez DID make himself part of the fight which was sad, many people hang this L on the fact that cortez didn't let ricky work which is wrong. it's like saying that tito won that vargas fight because of the low blows. while it may have helped, it was always going to be the same outcome.

great fight though hatton gets no credit but it was a good one at 140 on neutral turf it would be a really great match ...floyd still wins though
