The TV series could be canceled tomorrow and Haymon's boxing companies are still going to be valuable. Doesn't mean it'll have been a wise investment if the TV series is unsuccessful, but Haymon's boxing companies are going to be around a long time regardless.

If you were confident in the merits of your argument, you wouldn't be resorting to childish insults.
I'm actually tired of your ******ity which is why I'm calling you out as the fat low budget wrestler that you are. You don't know **** all pilsbury dough boy.

An exclusive deal wouldn't seem to help them corner the market if HBO is still televising boxing and some of the networks (like ESPN and Fox Sports) get back into televising boxing.

And would an exclusive network deal, even if it's with CBS/SHO, give the PBC enough dates and money for the entire PBC roster?

Which is why it'll be interesting to see what kind of ratings Spence-Algieri and Ortiz-Berto II do.

If they get a big enough deal, nobody will be able to compete with them.

And once Haymon has that deal, he can trim or grow his roster as needed.

Nobody knows for sure how this is going to turn out, but we do know how things would have turned out if Al stayed with HBO. He's be fighting for his slice of a $24 million pie, which maybe would have been $15 million if he was lucky.

The bar isn't really set that high on how big of a TV deal Al has to get to make this all worth it.

Natas brought up some legit **** & that was what helped make this installment more interesting than the 1st & 3rd parts for me. Very curious where Hauser is gonna end up at. Like I said I think he's a hack writer, but I think he's brought up some solid **** in half of his five part series thus far & more importantly he knows there is a market for writing about certain things more than other writers seem to understand this & that goes to his credit.

This article seemed to bring up that Richard not only had a non-compete clause to return to boxing, but had a clause to not work with Al Haymon in boxing for a certain period of time so that might explain why Richard isn't a part of PBC yet.

Then, on June 16, 2014, Golden Boy instituted an arbitration proceeding against him, claiming $50 million in damages. The suit was settled for an undisclosed amount and, per terms of the settlement, Schaefer was precluded from working with Haymon on boxing matters for an undisclosed period of time.
This was news to me & is an interesting aspect of all this if it in fact true.

So you must be suggesting that the NBA generates "zero ratings."

Which calls into question who is really delusional in this situation.
PBC isn't delivering anything, son - they've barely had anything scheduled this year. Only on NBC have they consistently done those type of numbers, and even then the viewership has continued to decline.

You're a complete ****** if you seriously think PBC will even be around by the time those time buys end, let alone thinking network bosses will be falling over each other to fork over millions for a product that they already know isn't profitable.
