Agree with PBP. As diehards we need to stop judging fights based solely on if casual fans want to watch. I get we need ratings but I think you can get solid ratings with good cards that attract the large percentage of diehard fans.

That would be an action packed PPV worthy card

      I approve of this message.

But my point is, I just think it's funny that this fight is better than Pac/Bradley 3 and Canelo/Khan but those are PPV worthy but this isn't.

I know it's about the names but when those names are recycled or fighting dudes 2 divisions below, who cares?
True true. Manny-Bradley is a stinky fight. I wouldn't watch it for free. I'd watch Terrance Crawford fight a trash can before I'd watch that fight again. I'll be honest I'm really intrigued by Canelo-Khan. I'm a big fan of Bronelo and I'm always down to see Khan get KO'd. I'm looking forward to seeing it even though it's going to be more one sided than a gang ****.

I have no issue with paying for a good competitive fight - and this fight qualifies. However, I'm a realist. The reality here is that Crawford and especially Postol are unknown commodities. This isn't a PPV worthy fight. It isn't.

So why is Arum asking the casual fans to pay for unknown commodities? Doesn't make any sense...

Like the fight. Wonder what the ppv price tag will be?

I tend to agree. This fight is the most important fight at 140. As a diehard fan, assuming the undercard is pretty decent, I'll certainly buy it.

**** it, I feel like I have to pay for this just to get more fights like this anytime soon.

Please don't **** this up, Bob. PLEASE.

He isn't asking the casuals. He's banking that there are at least 150-200K hardcore boxing fans in the country that want to see a good competitive fight.

Remember, this isn't a Floyd, Canelo or Pac PPV where you need to cover mega fight purses. This will probably be a $3-4 million card.

It's not a PPV worthy fight but I'm glad it's getting made. They're going to need to stack the undercard.

The best 140 fight right now. Crawford has a bit of a biscuit chin i think, but i'm not sure Postol has the power to knock him out, regardless of what happened to Matthysse.
