I believe Arum is trying to groom Crawford into a PPV Star
I'm sure he is. Just not sure a PPV flop is the way to kick that off. I'd like to see this on HBO World Championship Boxing and then Crawford's first PPV should be against a big name (assuming he wins).
Wont be PPV her ein the UK, no sirrrr eeeeee. You yank ****s can waste your money on it, but i'll watch it for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
If HBO can't afford it, how are the fans expected to afford the PPV? Sounds like they're really leaving the sport. Putting this on PPV is absurd.
Yeah it sucks but rumor is their $30 million HBO sports budget got slashed further. It must be pretty bad that they can't spend $2-3 million on fights like these anymore.
The breakeven on this is probably low given the purses. They probably only need 150-200K to breakeven.

Yeah I agree with that second paragraph. I'm just not sure it helps Crawford long-term. He's nowhere near PPV status and needs more exposure to a greater audience. But let's see -- the PPV #'s for Pacquiao-Bradley III should be a harbinger.
