As for Mayweather, clearly fighting at 152 was a concession. He looked pretty terrible at the weigh in, to the point he had to sit down.

When he decides it's time to move up, he will. I believe he'll fight at 154 next.
If so, he needs to be relieved of that belt Asap

Obviously because he wants to duck, he doesn't want to fight at all. When Cotto wouldn't take Pacquiao's initial catch-weight, Pacquiao compromised with 145. When Alvarez wouldn't take 150 vs Mayweather, Mayweather compromised. Why? Because they wanted the fight to happen.

Sure, direct transfer of ownership. Canelo forfeits the belt right to its rightful owner. Then Canelo can fight Marg, Rios or whoever at 156 until Ggg is ready to move up.

Here in Georgia....he is not...just being real....literally no one knows him outside of my mexican homies and a few hard core people.

Canelo is being unreasonable about the weight

and GGG is overstimating his star power considering he has very little, tanked on ppv, and literally has 0 wins over marquee names

if they want to be great they'll negotiate and make this fight before next spring
Canelo is HUGE in Texas. Well known in Vegas, Arizona, and Cali.

GGG has a big following in Cali as well. But no one really knows how good he really is??? He passes the eye test but his resume is pathetic.

I agree GGG is over estimating himself. And Canelo is being unreasonable at 155. 157/158 is very fair. Ggg weighs 159 at a lot of weighins anyways.

Personally I would like to see 160 but I think this has just as much to do with $$$$ as weight. The higher GGG wants the weight the lower the Split $$$$ wise. Neither one is fully getting both.

Right and GGG can keep making much smaller paydays vs what he would get to fight Canelo. Oh but now he can pay more sanctioning fee's to the WBC and actually lose money by being champion. Great plan there.

If Canelo gives up the belt do you even know who the mandatory would be???

Fighting Peter Wade and then Jorge Heilan is not going To make GGG look any better. In fact if he keeps this up I expect him to eventually get blasted for fighting all these unworthy nobodies he always fights just because their mandatories. But hey good luck saleing back to back POS fights. Don't know how you can hype that fight up.

So no point in being unified, because of the sanctioning fees? Whatever gets you to sleep at night, must be tough knowing your favorite fighter is a scared fraud

How humiliating, to be stripped because you're a duck.
