he isnt a household name outside of mexico
The dude is like 25 years old... the guys you mentioned weren't "household names" at 25 either. I could even argue canelo is a bigger star at this point in his career than they were. And BTW, idk where you live, but here in jersey, Canelo is a household name.

I hope GGG accepts the challenge and we get this fight in 2016! I really don't see what's ahead for GGG without a Canelo fight!

b)Outside of mexicans, no one really knows who canelo is....hard core boxing fans do...casuals dont

Cotto has been in some of the biggest fights of the past ten years....Mayweather, Pacquaio, Mosley, Margarito...the entire boxing wolrd casuals know cotto .he was far more internationally known than Canelo.

Also he was a more proven fighter, fighting a bigger guy.....what did canelo think, he was gonna get 50/50 or 60/40
Your point b), REALLY makes you look like a casual.

However in that fight he was the one starving himself to make 152. Against GGG he won't have to go through that. He wants no "disadvantage" yet he expects GGG to go through the disadvantage. 155lbs is not a weight class. If you can't do middleweight than drop down to 154.
Business is about what you NEGOTIATE not what you deserve.

Canelo got ripped-off against Floyd and Cotto but he was smart enough suffer now for and get the rewards later.

Ggg is either too ****** or he just doesn't give a FK about being a superstar or $$$$.

He weighs 159 most fights NEGOTIATE up to 157 at least. He's not getting the weight and the money.

He can get Canelo stripped and then fight the WBC MANDATORY Jorge Heilan ANOTHER fkn CAN!!!! Canelo will get some slack but he can come back and get some GREAT fights against Broom, Thurman, Porter, Charlo, Andrade.

Who is GGG gonna fight??? Jorge?? Colonel Saunders?! Andy fkn Lee???? Or another 20+ tomato cans!

Jorge Heilan vs. GGG ealry next year. Book that POS fight.

Years ago it was very difficult to get away with what promoters and management get away with now! The federation bodies aren't as strong these days and they bend to the cash cows and make some very bad moves or none at all!
I do believe Canelo is milking this situation because if he refuses the 160 limit for a Middleweight Title fight he will be the biggest ducker of all time.
He is a big bodied Middleweight, granted not tall but LaMotta was shorter and had the same thick body. Giving away a few inches in height is meaningless if your talent level is superior to your opponent.

If he doesn't agree to face Golovkin within the proper defense time frame strip him and move on.
These men adding 20 pounds on with in 30 hours then taking part in a stress filled activity are applying a lot of pressure on vital organs that they just "dieted" into submission for a week. It's simply irresponsible and detrimental to their long term health.

As far as big money bouts these two need each other equally!

basically he means... I have to have all the advantages in fights because i know i am over hyped. I know i rehydrate really well so I can have that weight advantage on fight night. I have limited boxing skills but i am an excellent and acturate puncher. But i already lost to mayweather, lara and GGG scares the **** out of me. So because i dont want to lose again and this a buisness i need to make as much money as possible. And GGG most likley will break me down i must try to have an advantage over him. And i am willing to vacate my title to avoid catching a beating. So i continue to be oscar's cash cow.

Cotto was the MW champion, how he was not a legitimate MW?

His mistake to pray on a handicapped fighter.
