He did. But Arum/Top Rank sold their interest in Chavez Jr off because they didn't want to deal with him anymore. Which as you look at it now, seems to make some sense.

But I am pretty sure they view Mikey Garcia as an up and comer and a much more valuable asset. And they don't want to give him up.Which is totally reasonable.
