Calm down with the caps. Yah, Byrd lost in the first one, and obviously had to make adjustments if he wanted a shot at winning, but that plan was obviously far from the right one. I really think it was a matter of pride for him, thinking he could go in and slug it out and hopefully get a victory that would win over a lot of people. I'm sure they were hoping Wlad was damaged goods and he could get an upset by slugging it out.

He needs to "break" into a new occupation. His days as a contender boxer are over....

Those two knockdowns were brutal. Wlad fought smart and didn't blow his stamina in 4 rounds like he did with Brewster. He was content to win by points and would chance the KO only if it presented itself.

He got Byrd thinking he would just jab all night, infact, Wlad didn't throw a right punch in the first round. Byrd got bamboozled into thinking a right wasn't going to come in after that jab. BAM!

And when Byrd tried to get inside, I saw the Lennox Lewis footwork in Wlad. He kept Byrd at bay and at the end of his jab.

Emmanuel Steward deserves 50% of this win.

Give him a break? I'm glad he made his money in the fight game, now I hope he retires and finds another career because he's been responsible for some boring fights

            byrds 35.

byrd fought who he could cuz nobody wanted to fight him. and nobody wanted to fight him cuz he makes people look bad. and when he makes one fighter look bad, he himself looks bad also. of course he didnt duck anybody, cuz people were ducking him (except for wlad).

hes overrated, always has been. anybody can outbox tua, humiliating holyfield was nothing great, he got a gift decision against oquendo and a gift draw against golota, and now gets what he deserves: a one sided ass whooping from wlad... again.

byrd deserved to get his ass beat. that inactive, money grubbing, trash talking, feather fisted, arrogant ******* needed his ass beat years ago. im glad he finally got it.

Exactly. I remember when the last fight with Devarryl Williamson happened he was whining about being IBF champ but ONLY making $400000 and that was for one of the more boring title matches I have ever seen.
