Frankie just turned 24 yrs old not making excuses for him but besides Canelo there hasn't been anyone recently that became a star in their early twenties. Errol Spence is 26 and he's still considered a prospect. Star building takes time a Herrera win is a right step in that direction for Gomez.

Franky Gomez was a highly recruited prospect.
Plus he's Hispanic and has an exciting style that brings in the fans. The fact he's been inactive, missed weight for fights and has had off the ring issues has all been on him.

Dude has everything to be a superstar already yet he chooses to throw it away. In 2016 he should be bigger than he is now.

I'm guessing that's the third fight, was wishing De La Hoya could get Ortiz on the show but still excited to see a great night of fights got my tickets ready and my hotel room booked can't wait for cinco de mayo weekend.

I think you're forgetting Adrien Broner. He won titles @ 130, 135, 147, and 140 in his 20s.
