Wladimir looked great, but Rahman is the champ

According to all Klitschko fans, Rahman should be the rightful champion. You called Vitali champion for chasing Lewis away so don't be hypocritical now. With the longest reigning champ out of the way, there is no doubt Rahman is the champ. After all, he chased Vitali into retirement. If the Ring does not name Rahman the official heavyweight champion, then they are biased.

With all the champs tied up as to who they're fighting next isn't Klitschko going to have to face a mandatory? I hate this division. Why not unify belts now? Props to Klitschko for destroying Byrd and for wanting to unify the division unlike everybody else. Rahman wants money, Valuev wants 50 wins, and Liakhovich wants Kevin McBride

This is why HW boxing is so pathetic at times...you're just another fruit believer in the "title belt name"...

just because Lewis was the WBC champion and now Rahman opened his mailbox and found a WBC title in it, that does not make Rahman THEE champ...

Ring needs you to beat the other top guys to declare you, Rock hasn't won a botu since the Monte Barrett fight which hardly makes you the man. At least Vitali pounded the guys he fought after Lennox retired. Rock went out and fought a mediocre fight against Toney, one which I thought he lost.

I think you've got the logic slightly confused. Vitali gave Lewis an incredibly tough fight, but lost. Lewis left, so it was up to the remaining heavyweights to stake their claim. Vitali WON that belt. Rahman had it handed to him. I'm a fan of Wlad, but neither he, or any of the other heavyweights are "The Man" right now. They need to fight each other, and stake their claim

          Shrek won't fight Wladimir.

He'd like to get to 50 wins and then more than likely retire. Because if they fought, he's going to have a blemish on his record after thar big, strange looking man falls through the ropes.

I aint calling Wlad the MAN just yet. IMO he needs to get just one more belt to have any claim for the HW crown.
I also believe that beatin the Rock would be the best option.
But so far things look much better for the HW division than pre Byrd fight.
            That is IMO.

Wlad is definitely the best heavyweight just like Vitali was after Lewis retired but to be the champ, you have to unify at least 2 belts. It was bull**** calling Vitali the man, and it's bull**** to call anyone the man now. But if you called Vitali the man then, you better call Rahman the man now.

Rahman didn't win the title off Vitali.. he had it handed to him.

Let's see how Rahman does against Maskaev before we determine who the man is.

i really could care less who you think is "the champ" because it is abundantly clear that klitschko is by far the best fighter at heavyweight. to me the champion is determined solely in the court of public opinion these days. and anyone who has been watching recently knows that wlad is the best.

i would love to see him fight rahman, that would be the easiest fight for wlad out of all the champions. rahmans defense is a piece of **** and his handspeed isnt even close to wlads. he will be consistently beaten to the punch by wlad and will lose by the 5th round. rahmans only strength is a right hand that also isnt as good as wlads.
