Explanation still makes him look silly. Would Tyson, Lewis or Sugar Ray take part in a farce like this.

Man, lots of people would be saddened if Roy got knockout again...especially by an average Joe !

Say what you will, this should be a tougher fight than Garcia vs Salka.

He can't beat a world class fighter, so he might as well fight a newbie.

Would have been funny if he picked Charlie Z, Roy could have beat the UBF champ and took his unbeaten record.
Roy really needs to find a hustle to do, he has lost his mind, this fight does nothing for him. If he wins, big deal, if he loses, he will have found a way to take his career to a new low.
He should just fight a journeyman in Florida and call it a day, before he gets hurt.

RJJ is only doing this to see if he's gonna lose to some joe blow or not.... if he does I fully expect for him not to step in the ring ever again.

Not even a REMOTE possibility of that happening! If you take a 45 year old former club fighter with a 15-7-3 record and have him spar an average Joe, it is doubtful the average Joe would even be able to land a solid punch on the guy. Gyms are filled with stories of guys who walked in off the street thinking their sht doesn't stink and after "sparring" with some 7-3 amateur, they end up walking out with their tail between their legs, embarrassed like crazy. Ask John Scully, former light heavyweight contender and trainer of two world champions. He comes on here and can recite many such examples from his gym alone.
