If referees always used that criteria, then Wilder would have lost the hw belt to that handpicked bum Duhaupas

A lot as it turned out. Crazy thing about that fight is the that if Tony got on top for one round he probably would have stopped Pac. He only had a few moments in the fight and he still left Manny in bits afterwards.
He did, the only difference is unlike Cotto, Pacquiao refused to bow down and crumble, Pac showed a lot of heart and toughness in that fight, he was outsized and was getting trapped in the corner several times but got back out and fired off on Tony. Tony put heavy pressure on him.

The one point in the fight Margarito hit Pac with two back to back body punches in the same area as Pac got tied up on the ropes and stuck there, Pac nearly sat down you could see he was in pain but fired right back.

This was def a brutal fight for both guys, its weird how some people say it was an easy fight for Pac, it was probably his most brutal fight, he had to go through a ton of punishment himself and its the fight that took the most out of him and his legs and movement were never the same.

The corner and ref dropped the ball bad in this fight, as much as I like to see a fighter get every chance to win, the fight should have been stopped.
Tony showed a lot of heart, but even if they somehow won, the cost was too much.
Both fighters paid a heavy price by letting a one sided fight go to far, Tony was hurting the smaller fighter, but losing by a mile.

Algieri no, definitely not. Margarito fight should have definitely been stopped though.
