He's got all the fundamentals down and a very good boxing IQ. He's also big and strong and if he trains with GGG he must have a very good conditioning as well.

I know he is slow but Ward has faced slower guys in Bika and Froch so that is not the bottom line. The bottom line is if he could take away Ward's ******* jab away.

I think Sullivan is not as good as Froch or Kessler but if he has their chin he is a dark horse in this fight.
He's stepping into the ring with Andre Ward, a guy who got as high as #2 on most p4p lists and, even with the extended layoffs, looked marvelous in his fight against Edwin Rodriguez, took another long break, and then looked just about marvelous in his fight against Paul Smith.

Sullivan Barrera, with his record being what it is and him already being 34 years old, size put aside, should have no chance against Andre Ward; people are looking towards some signs of slippage without anything actually manifesting.

I think they are he can knock out Ward if he catches him but probably lacks the speed to win he boxes like a Mexican rather than a Cuban

I think it is a good measuring stick between Ward's inactivity and going up in weight against a capable young fighter

Absolutely. Barrera seems to be one of the better 2nd tier level guys abit not fully battle tested yet in the top 10 after Kov, Stevenson & Ward so this isn't exactly a GGG vs Wade situation like some fans are trying to make it out to be.

Stiff, occasionally holding jab and an uppercut should do him wonders in a fight vs Ward.

            We'll see what happens.

Dude isn't even ranked by the Ring top 10 anymore and has only one 12 round fight. People are hyping this dude up so they can make Ward look like he beat a someone very good.

He's got Sanchez in his corner that's why.

And Sanchez constantly **** talks Ward.
