If you're gonna get crushed and humiliated, might as well do it in style in front of 80 000 people! Just ask Georgy boy Groves...

I don't think this is bull**** from Saunders. I believe he and Warren are giving it some serious consideration.
I think everything down to the popularity of BJS has to go down on the fact he is a gypsie (admittingly not a big fan of them either but I follow boxing regardless) and the fact he may not be as good looking as say someone like Eubank Jr who is entertaining to watch and has his fathers name to build his career off of.

It's sad he really should have an equal hype/following as Eubank Jr and this fight should be bigger than it actually is.

Being a gypsy doesn't make a fighter more popular in the uk, it makes them less popular if they talk about it a lot, like Tyson Fury.

BJS was under the radar for quite a while because he doesn't have a fan friendly style. he's no Froch, that's for sure.

Eubank got a head start on him because of his name and his dad being in his corner. His early learning fights were all screened on free TV and got good audiences.

BJS had already won British, European, Commonwealth, and WBO International titles when he fought Jr, but the reaction from casual fans when the fight was announced was: "Who's this guy Eubank's son is fighting ... is he any good?"

This fight would be lucky to do 40,000, so they can forget about Wembley. BJS is a boring, safety-first fighter, Golovkin is adored but only by the hardcore boxing public.

The fight doesn't really capture the public's interest because it's an easy fight, a mismatch. Saunders has about as much chance of surviving a firing squad as he does lasting the pace with Golovkin. 80,000 won't pack out the national stadium to see a British fighter with a so-so profile and not many fans fight a titan like Golovkin.

Pretty sad how things work nowadays with boxing you either are a lucky one or you're not.

                      I don't believe that.

Saunders can have that fight anytime he wants.

He's just gotta dare to be great.

Saunders could have already landed a Golovkin fight.

Golovkin could have already landed a Ward fight.

Golovkin could have already landed a Canelo fight.

Those guys are taking fights, IF they think they can win them.

Saunders is all talk..... but, so is Golovkin.

Golovkin is talking big, because he thinks that he can beat Saunders..... if not, we would be hearing the same excuses we heard with Ward/Lara/etc.
