lil G wants to fight smaller guys but he doesn't want to be that guy for the Ward fight. in reality his fight night weight is the same as Ward's walk around.khan who can't bust a g**** has no business fighting alvared.Comment

I haven't complained in the past but this would be an embarrassment and absolutely senseless. Loeffler is out of his mind with this idea. So what would that mean? Khan has to move up an additional 5 lbs or GGG would have to meet at 155? Either way it's really silly to see these two in a ring.
Khan says he's rehydrate to 160-165 for Canelo, and GGG weights around 168-170 fight night, so if he goes down to 154 he would weight around 165 max. So it would be a more even fight than what Canelo vs Khan is going to be. GGG would not outweight Khan more than Canelo, actually less.
HELL, even if GGG decided that he wants the fight at 160, he would outweight Khan by far less than what Canelo is going to outweight Khan in their fight at 155.
But all ****** people will say that GGG is a coward without thinking.
Why is more silly to see GGG vs Khan than Canelo vs Khan?
GGG fight night weight is 168-170. Canelo fight night weight is 175.
It makes no sense to say that it would be more unfair, it's actually the opposite.
I know what you mean... GGG is way more dangerous than Canelo. That just shows you how overrated Canelo is... The Chavez jr of the JMWs.
WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY PEOPLE CAN'T THINK? WHY!!?!??!?!?Last edited by _Maxi; 03-18-2016, 04:48 AM.Comment

Just like Khan can say no to GGG because GGG doesn't bring as much money as Khan wants. Though GGG is more popular than Ward, he is not in the same level as Khan/Canelo, etc.Comment

This is funny and sad at the same time. Either way, I've been trying to think of a similar situation in the past to what we have at middleweight right now. And the best one I could come up with is when Roy Jones beat Ruiz for a paper heavyweight trinket, while Lennox Lewis was the real champ. And you had almost a sub-heavyweight division with smaller guys like Roy, Chris Byrd (who was a trinket holder), Toney, and a few more guys. And they were never really expected to try and challenge Lewis for the legit title.
I think that since Cotto won the belt from Martinez, a similar situation is taking place with that title's lineage. Cotto, and now Canelo are jr middleweights. And since Khan is challenging, he's really a welterweight. Would it be nice if whomever emerges with the quasi middleweight title challenges GGG? Yes. Is it necessary? Absolutely not.Comment

Maybe because they want the damn belt wbc belt already. If Khan beats canelo by some miracle,it is fully expected of him to either vacate,or fight golovkin. It's a **** fight, and Khan would get murdered, but it's the price you have to pay if you want to walk around calling yourself the wbc and lineal middleweight champion.Comment

Ward has nothing to lose fighting GGG and GGG has something to lose and for what money? not much. Why would GGG go up to 168 for Ward and risk his 0 for 2 millions? Ward wants the smaller guy to fight him. GGG fight night weight is 168-170, and that is NOT Ward's walk around weight. Ward has to cut weight to make 168, and has recently stated that also has to cut weight to make 175. So you are a liar.
