they lured Gamboa out of his TR contract and the Rios fight negotiations, offering him a contract and $$$$, they tried to steal Gamboa from TR, but they couldn't because Arum sued the cuban's ass and benched him for an entire year, then he got stuck with .50 and all went downhill from there.

Gamboa's wasted career..chalk it up to Mayweather's long list of bad things he's done to boxing

Point is, Gamboa left TR thinking he was going to join Floyd's company.
So many errors in two posts.
    1. The joint promotion with 50 and Floyd was going to be Gamboa's next sign. That didn't happen.
    2. It didn't happen because Floyd was told 50 Cent was messing with Miss Jackson despite 50 and others telling him that Nelly not only took her, but also was ****ing his previous girl. Floyd didn't listen, blackballed 50.
    3. Ellerbe later reached out to Gamboa to sign him to Mayweather Promotions. Gamboa turned it down. Reasons unknown.

But the most important point is that it's not Floyd's fault Gamboa makes bad business decisions. That's his fault.

I agree he should never have left Top Rank, despite how bad Bob Arum is, it's better than not fighting at all.

LOL at thinking Rigo is a good fighter to talk about with good boxing business decisions. He's probably in the current top ten of fighters who've left money on the table %-wise & should be #1 right now in career mismanagement in particular after f#cking up a feature fight situation in the UK that could have helped him develop a following there that could have led to good things potentially (granted with Frampton now moving up seemingly it looks less appealing in retrospect, but at the time it was a great move to make to potentially force a fight with Frampton or worse case even Quigg).

And sure Lara is probably the best ran Cuban career since Jorge Luis Gonzales (he had a MGM deal himself back in the day), but even he's left money on the table with being mismanaged & even as a fan of PBC I don't think PBC/Haymon has done all that much positive for him overall. Sure he's getting 7 digits for fighting meh level opponents for him which business wise is great, but he should be fighting the biggest names possible each time out for even more money at this point in his career.
