Ortiz's talent has never been questioned. It's his heart, his mental state, his dedication, his maturity ect. He's quit in fights, he's quit on trainers, he's quit on promoters. On the eve of this fight to rebuild his career he went AWOL from his training camp with Joel Diaz because he wanted to party. Anyone expecting a focused/motivated Victor Ortiz after 5 years of being a trainwreck is wishing for the impossible. He flushed all his talent down the drain.

Exactly. It takes more than talent to be at the top. Ortiz lacks the other critical intangibles.

Ortiz ruined Bertos caree. He was never the same afterward. The first fight was amazing and both are washed up So who knows what this fight will look like
