Late March, April and most of May, will be a very exciting time period for us die hards. Lots of matches I'm looking forward to, including tapia-lemuix which was announced today in the undercard of khan-canelo. Can't wait!!!!!!!!

Vic has the physical tools to upset a few of the top guys in the division, too bad he's mentally weak. Hard to fix that in a fighter.

Should be fun fights, the winners should all be in good shape for bigger fights.

Exactly. This is not a main event type fight. Could be a decent scrap but neither guy is relevant or on anyone's top 10 rankings for 147. Makes more sense as a undercard. Both fighters have lost a ton of fights since they first clashed but I'll take Berto for the win because Ortiz has fallen further from grace and is a mental midget. Dude has some serious issues that probably date back to his childhood. He's focused on everything but boxing these days. You can't even get him to show up for training he just got the boot from Joel Diaz about a week ago. So who is even going to train him for this fight? He checked out a LONG time ago. 50% of what Berto was is enough to beat Ortiz.

If you aren't paying to attend the fight and you aren't paying a PPV or subscription to watch the fight why does it matter which fight is a main event?

Ortiz's talent has never been questioned. It's his heart, his mental state, his dedication, his maturity ect. He's quit in fights, he's quit on trainers, he's quit on promoters. On the eve of this fight to rebuild his career he went AWOL from his training camp with Joel Diaz because he wanted to party. Anyone expecting a focused/motivated Victor Ortiz after 5 years of being a trainwreck is wishing for the impossible. He flushed all his talent down the drain.

True. Maybe I'm hoping against hope.
