"AMIR KHAN HAS THE PERFECT STYLE TO WIN" - Danny Garcia

King Danny has spoken...hopefully Danny and Khan get it on at the end of the year....Dannys up for it. Ive always been a fan of Swift, he's a respectful geezer and keeps it 100% solid like a diamond

Not sure why you Americans don't get behind him

Hard not to take that on board really.

But whenever I imagine this fight I see Khan being blasted out quick. For me if Khan wins it would be the greatest win by a Brit in my lifetime easily. Would be phenomenal.

For that reason just seems fantasy.

Man, this cherrypicking chump must be high on his dad's coke stash or something.

Khan is getting destroyed in 3 or 4 rounds.

I've been a big Amir Khan critic but I must admit I feel exactly the same.
I think people are putting maybe too much stock into Canelo landing that big shot and wiping him out.

Just because a guy has been knocked down, hurt or stopped by lesser fighters doesn't always mean a better, bigger, harder hitter will manage the same outcome. Sometimes that big punch just don't come. Lets face it that is what we're banking on here because he sure as hell isn't outboxing Khan.

It could well end very badly Khan but I can also see him making Canelo look ****** in there. I think his handspeed could well put Canelo on his heels leaving him very flustered.

You'd probably have to favour the naturally bigger guy to get the weak chinned smaller guy out of there but stylistically Khan is wrong for him. If he was slightly bigger and took a shot better I'd favour him big time.

For the record I don't think Canelo is a particularly big puncher either. He had to hit little ass Lopez with the kitchen sink before putting him away.
He has failed to put a dent in just about every fighter except Kirkland's punch drunk ass and in all fairness I reckon even Khan would p*ss himself laughing at Ishida's lack of power.

Big deal. He also thought Cotto would beat Canelo as well. He just wants Khan to win so he can fight him next and not have him coming off a loss.
The odds makers will have Khan as the underdog so feel free to put your money where your mouth is and bet the house.

Well, he's been fighting guys that don't like to engage. Trout at the time atleast, Floyd, Lara. Slippery guys.

                He stopped Angulo, stopped Kirkland.

And tbh he didn't look to be going for the KO with Cotto...he looked like a cat playing with a mouse that was hanging on by a thread from rounds 6-12. On top of the fact Cotto is no slouch.

So, I'm not sold on your theory. I think the power is real and if Khan gets brave his getting his ass knocked out.

Danny's not breaking any new ground here; Khan boxing from range, using his hand speed and quickness, Khan can win a boxing match against most people. The caveat has always been that, for whatever reason, Khan never seems able to keep focused long enough to box for 12 full rounds.

Khan will start fast, Alvarez will start to pick up the rhythm and have the rhythm down by round 3/4, and then everyone will be holding their breath, waiting for that moment when Khan lingers too long in the pocket, or telegraphs his coming in, and Alvarez hits him with some ****.

Virgil Hunter is doing everything in his power to correct things for Khan, but old habits die hard; he'll inevitably try to stand and fight, before likely getting put out like Josesito Lopez got put out.

Getting knocked down/hurt/stopped isn't the issue; Khan has a habit of going against his gifts, standing to fight, and getting hurt in the process; if you've got even a semblance of punching power, you will hurt Amir Khan, for the simple fact that he keeps himself there to get hurt.

Alvarez is a junior middleweight who can punch and, most importantly, he can counterpunch/punch with you.

Khan is likely to start fast, and then lose his ****.
