i don't like ward, but at the same time i don't want nothing to stop kovalev/ward from happening, so i expect him to beat barrera.

what if barrera is secretly good and has been hiding his skills his entire career? that would be a much better fight than kovalev-holdy man. if you liked fights like brook-porter, floyd-maidana 2 and postol-matthysse you will love ward-kovalev

Outside of mayweather n Leonard no top fighters have long lay offs then fight elite or great fighters out the gate

But hey they couldn't whine about his inactivity anymore so crapping on his opponent was the next best thing

              Abels just being Abel

He knows Ward is or damn near the best fighter on the planet. I even caught a recent interview where he had a Freudian slip and admitted he was the best fighter but quickly corrected himself.

If Abel and K2 were actually confident that Ward had slipped he would set up a Ward / GGG but instead they're hoping Kov can do it.

                Who knows?

Nobody knows one way or the other. We really don't know how good a 2016 version of Andre Ward is. He definitely has a lot to prove in this second part of his career.

He can't be on any p4p list right now. That's judging him on his ability like 4 years or more ago which is a long time in boxing. Nobody can deny how good he was though.

Is he still that good? We'll find out anyway.

                  No one knows
My opinion is he out points Barrera in an uneventful fight.

Didnt you say you don't like ward because of skin color?

well they tried to fight ward after ward fought dawson so wasn't that prime ward? so he was willing to fight prime ward but not this ward? or maybe the circumstances changed and ward wanted 50-50 lol
