It killed the fight, you tool
That blatant duck, was not tongue-in-cheek LMAO
Andre Ward Must Go to 164 or No Fight.....
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds. Golovkin and his team received more than their fair share of heat in recent days, after placing a catch-weight demand on a potential fight with Ward. The reason for the heat, is because Golovkin was willing to fight both Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the full super middleweight limit.
We'd Fight Ward at 164, 50-50 Split.....
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out with WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs). But the deal would have to be under Golovkin's terms and not dictated by Ward. Loeffler feels Golovkin has surpassed Ward as a ticket seller and in terms of name recognition - making GGG the A-side of the negotiations.
Then Roc Nation made another offer to K2, but they said this.....
"Golovkin would be pleased to consider the bout in early 2017, if Ward was still fighting at 168 pounds"......

..."the offer was for a 50-50 purse-split in 2016, after each fighter had prepared by taking one more fight earlier in the year."
... so, basically, Ward proposed that he would take a tune up at 168 early in 2016 before fighting GGG? Are you serious, son?
... so GGG was ducking Ward's tune ups? WTF?Comment

Yea, of course I'm serious, you non-boxing clown.
Just like Kovalev did.
