He only has been exciting in the last minute of the Bradley fight and his last win.

He cries for his rematch that he got beat for 11 7/8 of the fight but should give rematches for those gifts that he got courtesy of TR.

I actually enjoyed his last fight but still not a fan of the guy. He is the modern day Rocky Juarez: good chin, stamina but too robotic

I could easily show thread links where Vargas was being crucified by no less than Floyd/Haymon/SHO/Schaefer/Ellerbe fanboys only about a year ago.

I know what you're referring to here. The Floyd community became the biggest bashers of Vargas when he joined Arum. The bashing even became bigger when Arum was offering him a Pac fight. All kinds of names on Vargas suddenly came up just to nullify Pac.

You'd think they'd be the last to post a thread like this.

1. Most boxers have debatable wins. It all falls on what the particular judges like.

2. He got a little annoying going on and on about Bradley but look, he was robbed of a crucial ten seconds. He deserved those ten seconds.

3. Both Bradley and Ali fights were from overhand rights that were perfect, flush and on the chin. It's not the power as much as perfectly placed, unexpected and with technique.

Everybody knows he wouldn't have KOed Bradley. If Pac and Provodnikov couldn't do it, then aint no way in hell he does it with ten seconds remaining.

Also, Bradley could have simply taken a knee and then moved around the ring for just ten seconds after the count. Actually, time doesn't get stopped during a knockdown, so he could have taken a knee and then time would have run out after Bradley obviously makes the count.

Having said all that however, the knee was not even necceassary, just another one of Bradley's options. There is no way in hell Bradley gets knocked out with ten seconds remaining, hell, there is no way in hell he gets knocked out period. This guy has one of the hardest chins in the world and he is as elusive as ever.

Vargas *****ing about the refs mistake was just a smokescreen to hide the fact that he got totally outclassed. The ref unfortunately gave him a clutch for him and his fans to hold on to, but everyone else knows it's all bull****.

That's why there hasn't been any outcry about his not getting a rematch, but instead he's either been ignored by the media and fans or when he hasn't been ignored, the outcry has been against him.

He needs to shut up and move on or at least do something noteworthy to earn the rematch, maybe if he can become a champion at welterweight or sumn.

early in his career all he did was jab jab and sometimes throw a straight right but now his game is evolinvg a little bit more and i respect him for that

He had every right to be upset, but anyone who is'nt delusional knows he was'nt knocking Bradley out. I get the in the heat of the moment, just after the fight **** talking. But the way he has carried on since, sorry, kid is a tool in my book.

As far as Memo goes. Anyone that has or does work with him, is suspect.

Anyways. Any one of these things I could probably get past and not have a peoblem with the kid. But you combine the three and I just can't like the kid.

Well to tell you the truth it didn't help him with a certain group o fans when he jumped ship from mayweathers camp and headed to Top Rank, so that made him hated by those fans.

I think overall he is a good fighter, I think he has underachieved in some fights which didn't help his case too.

But when he is on his game like he was with Sadam Ali he is a very good fighter and capable of beating anyone.

That is going way too far. Vargas is far from a bum but even on his game Vargas is far from being capable of beating anyone.
