People need to understand that this was strictly a money move. Canelo is a bigger fight which will earn Khan more money. Everybody expects him to lose so if he does he can still make a big fight with Brook. By some chance he wins his marquee value will go up and he will make more money in future fights with GGG and other middleweights. As far as money goes its a win-win situation for Khan.

Also with Floyd Mayweather gone I'm pretty sure this will be the highest grossing pay-per-view of the year so Khan is also capitalizing on that as well. It all boils down to the dollar in this situation.

Do you really think people will pay for this crap? Anyone with a couple of brain cells realises this fight is a complete and utter mismatch. Why would you pay for a guaranteed 3 or 4 round knockout? Khan is going to sleep. He has no chance whatsoever in this fight. Zero. Zilch.

Kell Brook is nothing but a bull**** talker. I'm not saying I agree with the Khan-Canelo fight either but at least Khan has gone and done something risky and completely out of his comfort zone. Brook can bull**** all he wants by saying, "Oh, its a win-win fight. If he loses at least he can say the division was too big and come back down" but a loss of one of the games hardest punchers is no joke- it can break you physically and mentally even if you plan on dropping down in weight.

Brook - you've been saying you'll step up since forever. Shut your trap. You're irrelevant and you don't need to be kept in the news until something actually happens. No point calling out the big guns - cheap is talk. I was a fan of yours but your choice of opponents is abysmal and you've failed each and every time to step up. **** the belts - **** Bizier, vacate the title and fight someone else with more credibility - Guerrero, Broner, Thurman, Porter (again) will all fight you there and then without a belt. Hell, even Ortiz will give you a run for your money.

If Khan was as confident of beating Brook as he say's he could have pocketed all those millions already and still had this fight ....something fishy here.....again!
