Winner of this fight takes on the winner of the other IBF eliminator. Takam vs joseph parker. Both good matchups & regardless of who wins these respective fights the final eliminator would be a good fight too. Some good matchups coming in the division

Is not an elimator for the winner of the proposed Parker/Takam vs Martin/Joshua ? I expect another IBF semi elimination for the winner of Chisora vs Pulev ?

This is a good fight. The heavyweight division is starting to get some depth again.

Chisora and Pulev have been in the picture for the longest. The depth of the division hasnt changed much, its just that the division isnt ruled by 1 man anymore.

We dont know much about Charles Martin yet, but all in all the 2015 class is deeper than for example the 2010 class. Many more contenders and less pushovers.

With the young guns (Fury, Wilder, Martin, Joshua) rising to the top the rest of the division has to face each other in order to stay relevant. The field has gotten deeper and more competitive now.

But you can't see any of these guys defeating the elite bunch including: Joshua, Ortiz Wilder or Fury. This is one of those fights that could be enjoyable to watch but won't bring anything new to the heavyweight division.

Pulev, if he's back to his best, could definitely contest with some of those guys. Unfortunately, he's looked awful in his last few fights. His performance against Arias was woeful. He also looks to have lost a lot of snap in his punches, but that could be a mental or conditioning issue.

Chisora looks mixed. I like some of the combos he's throwing now, including a very nice body shot uppercut combo, but he hasn't had much opportunity to utilise his head movement recently, and has been coming into fights quite fat.

This will probably come down to who's more willing to lay it on the line and put the work in in the gym.

You could be right but the Martin/Joshua winner has until end of January 2017 to make that mandatory defence which leaves a lot of time for a couple of elimination belts. I don't know why they wouldn't have the winners of these fights go at it in a final eliminator.
