Titles have (rightly or wrongly) been won at catchweight.

Winning on the scales used to be considered a lame b1tch-move.

I don't mind guys fighting at a catchweight, so long as they don't claim it to be fore a championship. The example that I always think about is the GSP vs. Anderson Silva fight that had been talked about for years. If they had met at 180lb or something, I'd have been fine with that. But if they fought at 180lb, and it was for Anderson's 185lb title, then I would've thought it was ******. Which is my problem with this fight, and most these other catchweights in Boxing. If they weren't for a title, then that's fine. But when you want to fight for a title, fight at the actual limit.

Khan actually is bigger and has lost ZERO of his hand speed. He was showing off that even with the extra weight he still has world class speed. The extra weight might even help his neck and chin out... I still thinks he's getting KOd though. Hell be winning on the cards though.

It's not even about whether or not Khan can win, I agree...Khan has great speed and length and if he can stick to a game plan he might box Canelo to a decision, hell he might even get him frustrated and hurt him and bust him up, its boxing anything can happen. In the gym you fight guys bigger than u all the time and hurt them with bigger gloves and headgear on. It just depends on how u execute your game plan on the night of the fight

My point isn't that at all....my point is Canelo is HOLDING the MW belt hostage by NOT fighting MWs...it makes no sense to have the lineal title that u won from another Jr. WW / career WW and defend that belt against someone whos never even fought at 154 while there are guys that have been fighting their way up the ranks or collecting all the other belts and they get shafted cuz of this

He can lose to Khan, then get a rematch and win and rematch again for all I ****ing care, its a good fight on record to me, its just not a ****ing MW title fight LOL its bull****
