Comments Thread For: Browne Dismisses Rumors Of Haye May Day

David Haye has been chasing a May 21 showdown with WBA World titlist Lucas "Big Daddy" Browne (24-0, 21 KOs), but the 36-year-old Australian took to Twitter over the past couple of days to shoot "Hayemaker" down in flames. The newly minted champ confirmed that he is contracted to meet mandatory challenger Fres Oquendo in his next fight and is currently not engaged in talks with the Londoner.

He may have been putting in out just like briggs did when he said he had signed to fight klitschko. I've heard 3 rumoured names for Haye. Malik Scott, Shannon Briggs & Andrei Fedosov... Just rumours...

The WBA has Ortiz, fury, klitschko, ustinov, browne, oquendo in tourney. It depends where chagaev ends up next month but the only guys left in the top 10 of the WBA are Haye, Fedosov, tarver & briggs. All 3 are ahead of Haye. Briggs being the highest. Teper is #10 & suspended. I think Tarver is suspended too. That leaves Briggs & fedosov. If there was no haye. Fedosov & briggs could be in sn eliminator

Haye has no shame at all.

"I already have an opponent, but I'll take Lucas Browne"

Same old Haye, crapping on contracts.

Browne ducking Haye already? Start of things to come?

Like Browne vs Oquendo is going to be half as entertaining as Haye vs Browne... lol

Knock Haye all you want, but the guy is just trying to handle biz... GETTING MEANINGFUL FIGHTS. Meanwhile, Browne gets a lucky break with Oquendo. But then comes the moment of truth. He can talk he!!fire and brimstone all he wants, but he won't stand up to Haye or Martin or Joshua or Fury or Wlad or Ortiz or Povetkin. He MIGHT get in a lucky punch early with Wilder, but there's about the only chance for him.

Haye too athletic, quick and accurate for Browne - knocks him out in brutal fashion. Chagaev was done and Oquendo is more of the same. Haye on another level at this point.
