Yea that ****in jab and then right straight was the killer in this fight, it was perfect to keep chris byrd at long range and keep him from mounting a good body attack, which in my opinion Byrd did well enough to take the first round, but just couldnt do at all after that.

I gotta give Wlad credit, facing Peters was ballsy and he just destroyed Byrd. A grudge match with Lamon Brewster next would be perfect......if he ****s up Brewster this time around that would be awsome! To bad Brewster lost his belt would gave Wlad a chance at revenge as well as to unify.

Well that clip does the punch no justice! He needs to see it on tv and hear the punches. It was a brutal shot and so was the final knockdown.

how byrd thought he was going to win from that distance is beyond me, he did the same in the first round all the way through to the seventh. he never even tried to get inside of the taller man. he was right on the end of wlads punches all night, wlad did'nt have to move once to be in range.
