how byrd thought he was going to win from that distance is beyond me, he did the same in the first round all the way through to the seventh. he never even tried to get inside of the taller man. he was right on the end of wlads punches all night, wlad did'nt have to move once to be in range.

i dont think so man, i saw byrd trying to get inside on him the entire fight, wlad is just to tall and he has an excellent jab. both of those things make it very difficult for a shorter man to get inside.
it truly was a devestating performance by wlad, im liking the guy more and more. as long as he keeps fighting smart to protect his chin he's gonna beat anybody in the hw division with those concussive punches of his. i would like to see him get a chance to redeem himself against brewster but like someone else already said, it sucks that lamon lost his title.

yeah, its that new "Thunder Punch" (what i like to call it) straight right hand that wlad has developed. his jab is pretty damn good, too.
