    Barrera beat Lacy easily!

His amateur world titles were won as a junior. The best he did as a senior amateur was 2 bronze medals in the cuban championships.

That doesn't mean he can't be a very good pro though, but he left it very late to turn.

Ward/Barrera is an interesting match-up. Sulivan is much, much better than the kind of no-hopers Ward was trying to fight till HBO kicked him up the back-side!

Of course. Problem is even so, the fight is in Oakland, the ref will be blind, and the judges will have their cards filled in before the fight. So Barerra will need to win in spectacular fashion, which will be difficult since Ward tends to clinch excessively.

Lol. He knocked out Lacy in round #4!!! I don't know what fight that dude watched???DC needs to investigate him I've hebscored the fight for Lacy??? I think Sullivan is EASILY a top #5 LHW... Not gonna be an easy win at for Ward.

If this is not a unanimous/10-2 round win for Ward I'd be disappointed. Don't think Barrera has a chance. Don't get me wrong, he's a good first LHW opponent for Ward, but should still be handled with extreme ease.

??? U do know that Lacy was TKO'd by Sullivan in round 4...He also beat Chad Dawson pretty good back in 2000. When EVERYONE though Dawson was the next big thing.

You must be related to CJ Ross and Lloyd Scaife.

This will not be an easy out for Ward, but he should win it comfortably if the old Ward shows up - that's what this fight is really all about.

On the Sanchez interview - actually fairly balanced and an interesting take - which is not always the case with Abel. I'm not particularly sold on the Canelo - Khan matchup still but I can agree that Khan's movement and speed do have the potential to give Canelo some issues.

Exactly! And I thought another fair point Sanchez made was that Khan could be a little sturdier at 155. He will need to be.
