Well seeing he was favored against Soliman just last year who was a top ten MW kinda proves that theory wrong.

make the belt excuse ggg tards go ahead..
so u mean to tell me that if canelo dropped the belt and said hey ggg since u said 154 for floyd fight me at 155..u guys would defend him saying no??

sounds fearful or either like a weight bully who wants to fight welterweights...HE'S NOT DIFFERENT FROM CANELO...a weight bully and a coward i guess
Maybe because Canelo walks into ring at 180, and Floyd walks in at 155 max.

But let's put that in perspective. Floyd fought both Cotto and De La Hoya at 154, but only Canelo at 152.

Why, maybe it's because Canelo is much bigger than Cotto and De La Hoya.

          Same ****ing excuse.

Jesus, really. Khan would be a epic underdog against GGG.

Canelo is already an underdog against GGG.

You have to go up to LHW to find a fighter who won't be.

Khan would be a 25-1 at least.

Yea, titles mean nothing, but supposedly Khan wanted the MW title.

          Cotto said Canelo wanted it.

          On and on and on.

The title stopped meaning things to Canelo has soon as it became attached to GGG.

Canelo walks around calling himself MW champ does he not--although he has never fought a MW.

Canelo says he's two division champion does he not?

Canelo said he is proud to be the first Mexican to win a lineal title above JRMW does he not!

Yea, keep selling that bologna sandwich.

Hey man, as a GGG fan myself I hope he gets that big name fight. I wanna see how far he can really go.

There is some serious work that needs to be done with the sanctioning bodies no doubt. But a fighter should always strive for a title. Its the ultimate goal is to be on top as a champion. Unfortunately we dont get those big fights as often as we should either and they are only limited. Fighters should not chase big fights, they should chase titles and big fights will follow. The best gather at the top.

Ginger has become the biggest diva in boxing after the Cotto win. That diva will duck GGG and lose a lot his fans in the process. Ginger knows it but will still be willing to duck GGG and lose the belt. Ginger isn't ready to take another loss just yet.

I agree in theory, IF the division is stacked, and IF the division below is healthy/stacked.....

But if Canelo is stripped, and Golovkin is elevated..... and Golovkin then beats Saunders.....

..... what big fights will follow, name one ?

wilder has crazy power and duhap at that **** for 11 rounds..and wilder hit him with everything but the kitchen sick and cut him in round 1...NO MATTER WHAT DUDE STILL WAS BUCKING...like i told u he went 12 with teper on juice..i bet u'll find a way to hate on that..and then he adjusted to beat a fighter that is the same style as teper in his next fight while he was the massive underdog

u have to stop name riding and start understanding styles..im not a kell brook fan one bit..but i think bizier is about to seek and dang near destroy him if u watch the fredrick lawson fight vs bizier u would understand my pic
I understand styles completly. Have watched this sport since I was a kid. Styles prove themselves all the time, look at the mma fights last weekened. What about Wach vs Wlad? Wach was juiced in that one and Wlad couldnt ko him. Povetkin koes Wach in Nov, and Wach was again suspect of peds. Wach already has a granite chin and Povetkin still koed him. Styles make fights, but cannot be used as an excuse. What matters is the wins and losses. Teper is nothing special, even on the juice he nothing special, you talk about guys fighting a name. Tepers biggest name is Dupah, only because Dupah got a title shot. Still what has Dupah done after Wilder? Beat a bum, he has a good fight coming against Helenius. Helenius has not been relevant in years, so if he beats Dupah then what?

I think you are overating Wilders powers as well. Yea he can punch, but with his size, length/leverage he should be able to. But he doesnt have devastating power, Stiverne, Dupah, Splitzy all walked through his punches. They just were not good enough and took too many punches that eventually folded them. I wouldnt lean on Wilder too much just yet man, he may crumble sooner then later. He has a lot to prove.

If that happens, GGG is left out in the cold again. It could happen. Its the truth the fighters dont seem to want to fight him. He may never get that big fight, even if he moves up at some point. Not much there either. Big names have mentioned fighting him, Froch, Ward, Chaves Jr, Lara (not really a big name), Canelo...may be missing more, but those talks never went anywhere. Why? Not sure but commentators even Hopkins stated guys just are not motivated to fight him. I hope he gets it, I really wanna see what hes got!
