It's a made for TV action fight. These are the type of fights that should be on TV!

I disagree, I think exact opposite on both points being made.

I think Berto will give Ortiz a beating this time, if this fight really happens

The fight is on for sure. It's on boxing scene top headlines and they don't put stuff up until it really is going to happen. Ortiz was a very good fighter for a very short time. Now I question his heart and dedication and determination. He doesn't seem to want to be a boxer that much anymore and I have little faith in him. He has more potential than Berto and should win again if he has prepared properly and is mentally right and ready to give this fight a 100% determine effort. That is a huge if with today's Ortiz. Berto isn't as good as Ortiz but he does his very best every fight and never quits. All things considered I think it's an even and interesting fight.

This fight goes one of two ways. Back and forth all action fight/foty candidate again, or complete blow out in favor of Berto due to Ortiz's unwillingness to fight. It really depends on how hungry he is. I can't see Berto not putting it all on the line unless hes getting outboxed, but Ortiz just isn't the guy to do that anymore.

I'm definitely interested to see what happens. Who cares how relevant they are compared to 2011? They're made for each other when they're hungry.

One thing I notice about fights like this is that they can sometimes be really entertaining. Both guys have usually slowed a little down the road so they resort to more slugging and it becomes a battle of will. On the other hand, they can also turn out like utter shyte. Yes, it's absolutely irrelevant but I'll be eagerly watching and hoping they just tear into each other, looking to prove something.

                  ^^^ look at this mother****er.

PBC has beyond desperate money problems, yet they are putting up the money to have two name fighters face off in the main event. You add that PBC is likely also going to pair the fight with two other 50/50 of 60/40 showdowns. lol

Ortiz is probably blazed out of his mind as we speak 4/30 isn't nearly enough time for him to get in proper shape.

He should just move up to 154.
