Idiotic comparison. Oscar ran the last 3 rounds AFTER dominating the fight and embarrassing Tito making him look like an amateur at times. Bad look for Oscar he got terrible advice from his corner. But it was only last 3 rounds and he already built up a reputation for fighting and pleasing fans. Lara ran all fight long and doesn't have the same built up goodwill or fan base Oscar had to rebound like Oscar did. Plus he has done nothing since that fight to change the narrative that he's a boring runner. You cant give away tickets for his last 3 fights and he gets booed in his own showcase fights. He had a chance on the big stage with Canelo and blew it and the stink from that fight makes most fans not want to see him again. Comparing him to Oscar is just foolish. Oscar remained the biggest draw in boxing after the tito fight. Lara under every metric you want to is hurting from how he fought canelo.

But some guys are so boring, I never want to see them again. You can pretty much put Lara and Rigo in this group for me. I never want to see them fight.
EXACTLY. It makes no sense for cotto to fight lara if he wants to make money there are many fighters who bring more money and will bring a better fan friendly fight. Simply Lara doesn't bring much to the table and is far more likely to push fans away then bring additional fans to a Cotto fight. Cotto won't think for a sec about fighting that boring track star. I've been rough on cotto the last few years but would never criticize him for ignoring Lara.

It's an interesting fight. Cotto is better going forward now than when he fought Trout. I think I would still pick Lara. It might be a good fight but after that show Lara put on against Canelo I don't know if I want to see it.

Lara needs to give Delvin Rodriguez his rematch.

I think Cotto should fight Lemiux @ 160 lbs, Interesting match-up Cotto has the experience & Lemiux has the size advantage...
