yeah, he wanted to fight him SOOOOO bad that he demanded that the fight take place a year and a half down the road. Because thats what you do of course when you want to fight someone. Happens to me all the time. Some guy starts something, and then says "ok motherf**ker, its on!!. Meet me back here in 18 months!!!!!"
Right...
In the meantime Andre Ward moved up to 175 and signed a contract to face Kovalev in 2016. Golovkin is fighting Wade next with no concrete plans for the future except begging Canelo to fight him.
Now ask yourself, do you really believe Ward didn't want to fight Golovkin?

Well he was born in Asia, Kazakhstan, he is literally Asian. It doesn't help your case that his mother is actually Korean, again, an Asian country. To summarize this thread:
-Golovkin sucks
-Floyd
-It's Golovkin's fault for being "A-side" and not taking a 50/50 with Ward in late 2016
-It'a shame that Canelo's asking for 155, but he's A-side.
-It's Golovkin's fault for not taking 155.
-Golovkin is now asian, despite looking like a white guy, living in a former Soviet country and having Russian as his main language. Next week - he's Filipino.
-Golovkin should give up his belts and move up, right this second. Because that's what Floyd did. Because SMW is full of great fighters with whom he can get a fight easily.
-Lara doe
-Floyd
Golovkin is Asian/Russian. His mother is Korean, his father is Russian. That literally makes him Asian/Eastern European born in Central Asia (Kazakhstan). His nationality on Boxrec and Wikipedia says Kazakhstan, again, an Asian country. Even if you say, well when he was born that was not Central Asia yet, that was part of USSR, you can't take away the fact that his mother is Korean, which makes him biologically Asian. He also competed in Asian games and Asian Championships.
Yes, he can just be labeled Russian...he looks, sounds Russian, and has a Soviet name, was born in Soviet Kazakh. But you can't ridicule the fact that someone claims he's Asian, when he is actually LITERALLY Asian. In a literal sense.Comment
