I heard and read from multiple people that Walters was asking for more time. Maybe they were wrong or gave out false information. Maybe I'm going in on Walters too quick without knowing all the details. Who knows.

They should have just made something work with Showtime if HBO doesn't want Loma and Walters, because it's obvious they don't really care for either fighter. If they cared they would of had matches lined up just like the rest of the HBO fighters. From what I understand Loma and Walters are not signed with HBO, so that's probably the biggest reason why they don't care about them, but that should have also made it easier for them to go to Showtime.
Showtime could invest in the 126 and 130 divisions which are stacked right now. It would be a smart idea.
Anytime a division is stacked nobody ever takes advantage of the situation. You would think they would have learned their lessons by now.

Damn good fight. But it's needs to official and as great as this fight is I'm not sure it can sell out Gardens Big Room. Their needs to be a significant co main event to sell out.

If it's Verdejo he needs to be fighting a high quality opponent or have a unification match between Postal and Crawford. Just a thought

hbo cares about lomo or they wouldnt have threw him inthe fires so fast..they wanted to catch him up with ggg and kovalev to rush their eastern block plans, but the hw division is to hot right now..they're seeing lomo isnt producing crowds,ko's, or numbers...they are about to make a play for the hw division more than likely...they dont want showtime to own htat

Filling out the card I'd guess they'll have the regular east coast guys like Seanie Monaghan and Julian Rodriguez on the undercard, as well as that new Puerto Rican boxer Jean Carlos Rivera on the card.

Whatever, though, I love the fight...wonder if they'll get Lomachenko a stay busy fight before June.
He fights twice a year, so most likely no... for him and Walters

Haymon has the 126lb div on lock..HBO has no reason to sign Loma bcuz theres no one to match him with..Bobs in house BS basically did this to Loma.

Not lookn to good for Bob in the near future. Hes actually stated hed like to match Crawford with Broner and Vargas with Danny Garcia..also Haymon "knows his #" if he wants to make these fights. Of course these fights would only benefit Bob, moreso GarciaVargas, bcuz Garcia and Broner are already established names. As much as i enjoy seeing Bob in this position, id LOVE a CrawfordBroner fight. Still Fk Arum.
